The pure pigments of pastel, the textures of acrylic and oil, the subtlety of graphite and ink, the exactness of color pencil may excite me to exuberant work or soothe me to quiet and thoughtful results. Thanks Michel. Yes they are. The several photos I worked from were of an ally in London behind city buildings with the trash cans, i.e. dust bins, lined up along the way.
